摘要：The invention provides a stud capable not only of keeping or reducing the totalweight of the studs for a tire, thus observing the stud weight regulation, but also ofimproving the anti-stud-loss performance. The stud has a columnar body section, a pinsection disposed on one end of the body section, and a flange section disposed on theother end of the body section. The pin section is formed in a shape having a lengthdirection and a width direction. And the pin section, the body section, and the flangesection in orthographic projection satisfy 0 ‰¦ (SM/HM) < 1.0 and 0 < (HM-SM) /FM < 0.7where SM is a projected area difference between the flange section and the body sectionin the width direction of the pin section of the stud, HM is a projected area differencebetween the flange section and the body section in the length direction of the pin sectionof the stud, which is orthogonal to the width direction of the pin section, and FM is amaximum sectional area of the flange section orthogonal to the central axis of the stud.
