1教学目标

1. Learn the new words through the pictures . 2. Learn to talk about the animals.

3. Train the students’ listening and speaking skills.

2学情分析

学生学习积极性很高,对英语学习有着强烈的好奇心和求知欲,与老师配合很默契。在新语言的学习过程中,教师要尽可能多的创造较好的语言环境,让学生充分感受语言,学习语言和正确的运用语言,使学生能对身边的小动物产生喜爱之情。因此,我在备课时考虑诸多方面,以便收到最佳学习效果。

3 教学重难点 1) Topic vocabulary:

they, monkey, tiger, lion, elephant , panda . 2) Basic sentence:

4教学过程 Step 1.Greeting:

Step 2. Warm-up:

Now, let’s sing a song together, OK? Everybody, stand up. Show me your hands and do like me.

Step 3. Presentation:

First, let’s play a guessing game. 1) GAME: Guess, guess, what’s this?

NO.1.It’s so funny, it has a long tail, it has a big mouth. Guess guess, what’s this? (Show the picture: monkey) NO.2 It’s so tall .It has big ears and a long nose. Guess guess, what’s this? (Show the picture: elephant) NO.3. It’s so big, it’s black and white, it has black eyes. Guess guess, what’s this? (Show the picture: panda) Wow, you are wonderful. Now let’s go to the zoo to see them. 2) Learn the new words.

Look at the picture. Follow me, please. Panda -- golden finger Tiger--high and low voice Lion--big-small air balloon Monkey--clap hands Elephant--golden finger.

3) Practice the new words.(game-- what’s missing, ask and answer, PK) 4) Learn the new words’ plural form.

panda -- pandas tiger--tigers lion--lions monkey--monkeys elephant--elephants 5) Learn the sentences:

What are they?-------------They are elephants.

What are they?---They are monkeys. / tigers/ lions/pandas.

Step 4.Exercise & Test:

Yes, elephant, monkey, tiger, lion, they are in the ZOO. Let’s talk to them.

Game one: rock ,paper,scissors_------What are they? What are they? What are they?

Game two: Do & Say (find five students to act the animals) What are they?---They are monkeys. (elephants, monkeys, pandas, lions……) 3) Game three:

Look & Listen & Touch & Say Everybody, Let’s have a PK, OK?

I need two Ss, who wants to try? Now, you stand here, and the others look at my mouth, If I say “monkeys”, you speak “monkeys” loudly! And you two touch the card quickly, OK?

If you are the first one , I will give you a point. Let’s have a try!

Step 5. Summary 1. Do the chant: Hey, hey, Jessica!
