一、从课程目标上分析

Reading材料的设置努力体现了《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》规定的课程性质和理念,在学习的同时,发展自主学习的能力和合作学习的精神,培养了学生的语言综合运用能力,以及用英语进行思维和表达的能力,进一步拓宽国际视野,为未来发展和终身学习奠定良好基础。

二、从课程内容上分析

本文话题材料力图渗透思想情感教育,有利于学生人文素养的提高,内容贴近现实生活,符合学生的心理和生理发展需求以及他们的年龄特征,能够激发学习兴趣引起共鸣,具有较强的感染力。

教材分析

【教材的地位和作用】

本单元的中心话题是“节日”,各项活动的设计都围绕着一些中外节日的主题进行。Using language的主要设计是:阅读内容主要讲述发生在情人节的一个伤心的爱情故事。故事中又穿插着一个“乞巧节”的故事。通过本单元的学习,学生了解节日的种类,节日的由来,节日的作用,节日中人们的各种表现,以及节日的故事,使人们不仅增进了对中国的节日理解,而且对外国的一些节日也有所了解和感悟,提高学生的文化素质,进而加强了跨国文化交际意识。

【教学重难点】

(1)教学重点:了解节日民俗,以及相关词汇,如custom,religious,obvious等。

(2)教学难点:①重点句式:It is obvious that…/So it is等。

②阅读理解能力的提升,并根据内容须写一个结尾

【课时及课型设计】

根据本节教学内容及课程标准的要求,将本节课设计为一课时,为阅读新授课。

A sad love story学情分析

授课对象为高一(14)班的学生。本班男生较多,英语基础较差,对英语不太感兴趣。大部分学生的思维活动、表现欲望和合作精神在平时的教学中表现很好。根据这些特点,我采用与新课标要求相一致的新的教学方式,即活动式的教学法和任务型教学法相结合的方法,调动全班学生的积极性,在师生互动、生生互动中实现教学任务和目标。

本节课的教学以学生为中心,以问题为出发点,使课堂教学过程成为学生自主地进行信息加工、知识意义构建、归纳能力发展的过程。教师在教学过程中则适时介入,引导、启发、组织、帮助、促进。随堂进行小组指导,一方面参与学生的讨论,更给学生以个别辅导,以帮助学生解决学习过程中的难题。

A sad love story 教学设计。

A sad love story 是“语言运用”部分的阅读课文。虽然结尾留下了悬念,但它是一个完整的故事,讲述了一对现代年青人的爱情故事,其中穿插了对中国古代著名的“牛郎和织女”及其由此演变出来的“乞巧节”的介绍。两个不同年代的故事由爱情这条主线巧妙地连接起来,使学生读起来意趣盎然,同时让他们理解到爱的真谛是相互信任,相互理解。为此做如下教学设计:

根据本节教学内容及课程标准的要求,将本节课设计为一课时。

一、教学方法

1.兴趣激发法

1)用有趣、难度适中的阅读材料激发学生阅读兴趣。

2) 阅读前的巧妙提问激发学生阅读兴趣。

2.信息整合法

根据课文实际情况,努力运用如自制课件、网络等各种媒体手段,将各种有用的信息资源整合起来,充分调动学生的学习兴趣和主动性,培养学生获取和利用信息的能力。

二、课前准备:

设计PPT课件,准备好听力视频材料,印制好导学案。

本节课,通过演示法把制作的课件、学生的讨论结果等显示给全体学生看,使更多的学生对知识的运用有了新的认识,并从中获得启迪,从而解决问题。

通过小组协作法分析问题、解决问题,从而内化而形成学习成果,并将其在全班学生中展示,使学生获得成功的喜悦,从而激发了学生的后续学习热情。 通过任务驱动教学法将所要学习的新知识隐含在一个或几个问题之中,学生通过对所提的任务进行分析、讨论,并在老师的指导、帮助下找出解决问题的方法,最后通过任务的完成而实现对所学知识的意义建构

观课记录

曹永梅老师的这一堂课是一堂清晰实在,扎实系统,动静结合的英语课。教师以新的课程理念为指导,充分考虑了学生这一年龄阶段的特点,在本课的教学设计和组织上注重了以下几个方面。

1、新课导入,充分调动起学生兴趣。良好的开头对一堂课的成功与否,起着关键的作用。本堂课一开始,教师就用PPT课件效果导入新课,使学生的注意力在最短的时间里,

被激活。接着教师利用游戏引出新词教学,自然有效。

2、关注教学方法,体现了一个活字。教师的教学方法灵活,新单词呈现形式多样。应该说整堂课中,教师在引入新词时,都是比较新颖而又自然,而且具有生活化的。教师还注意利用实物,图片,卡片,身体语言,表情动作等作为教学资源,创设讲解,操练和运用英语的情景。

3、教学活动的设计丰富多彩,有效,训练方式多样,有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动,双人活动,个人活动等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。

4、唯一不足的是,曹老师在某些活动细节处理上还是有点粗糙,导致学生和老师在课程衔接上有点脱节。

总之,英语课堂的活动应该以语言运用为落脚点,本堂课上,曹老师很好的贯彻了:在用中学,学中用,学用结合,学以致用的原则。同时体现了以学生为主体,教师为主导的新课程理念。在这样的一个学习过程中,学习者处于相对自然的态势,不断的在习得和使用语言,学和用每分每秒都和谐的交织在一起。

课后反思

传统英语教学过程过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授,对生动活泼的课程内容进行肢解,使其成为不胜其烦的“知识点”的堆砌,把“reading”当成讲解知识点的例子。忽视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养。这种教学观念与新课程的要求极不相适应。因此,为了适应新课程,本节课突出了“以学生为主体”的思想,利用有趣的阅读学读材料,充分激发学生的学习兴趣。

建立“以学生为中心”的主体观。教学活动以学生在课堂上做事为主,教师只是负责组织、引导、帮助和监控,引导学生学会认知、学会做事,让学生经历获取知识的过程,关注学生各种能力的发展,促进其知识与技能、过程与方法、态度与价值观的全面发展,建立学生自主探索、合作学习的课堂模式,创设和谐、宽松、民主的课堂环境。追求学习结果转向追求学习过程,真正把学生当成获取知识发展自我的主人。“一切为了学生,为了学生的一切,为了一切学生”,切实构建“以学生为中心”主体观。

建立“以能力为中心”的教育质量观。为了适应知识经济时代的要求,更好地培养具有创新精神和创新能力高素质人才,课堂教学不仅仅是传授基础知识、基本技能的过程,同时也是一个不断培养学生创新精神和实践能力的过程,教师所讲授的知识应该成为培养学生英

语能力的“火种”。也就是说,课堂教学是一个在老师引导下学生主动参与、独立思考、自主发现、不断创新和培养实践能力的过程,让学生由“学会”转变到“会学”。

适应新课程,本节课突出了“以学生为主体”的思想,利用有趣的阅读学读材料,充分激发学生的学习兴趣。

建立“以学生为中心”的主体观。教学活动以学生在课堂上做事为主,教师只是负责组织、引导、帮助和监控,引导学生学会认知、学会做事,让学生经历获取知识的过程,关注学生各种能力的发展,促进其知识与技能、过程与方法、态度与价值观的全面发展,建立学生自主探索、合作学习的课堂模式,创设和谐、宽松、民主的课堂环境。追求学习结果转向追求学习过程,真正把学生当成获取知识发展自我的主人。“一切为了学生,为了学生的一切,为了一切学生”,切实构建“以学生为中心”主体观。

建立“以能力为中心”的教育质量观。为了适应知识经济时代的要求,更好地培养具有创新精神和创新能力高素质人才,课堂教学不仅仅是传授基础知识、基本技能的过程,同时也是一个不断培养学生创新精神和实践能力的过程,教师所讲授的知识应该成为培养学生英语能力的“火种”。也就是说,课堂教学是一个在老师引导下学生主动参与、独立思考、自主发现、不断创新和培养实践能力的过程,让学生由“学会”转变到“会学”。
