guarantee作名词时，指“保证”或“接受保证的人”，而guaranty指“作保”事实，也指“保证”，“保证书”。guarantee在使用上比guaranty来的普遍；表示“保证人”时，一般用guarantor，不用guarantee或guaranty来表示；注意不同语境下，guarantee表达的意思不同。

用作及物动词 (vt.)

guarantee的意思是“保证,担保”,指对货物质量、人的品质或所承担义务的保证,也可表示担保某事必然会出现某种结果,含有不容置疑的意义。

guarantee用作及物动词,后可接名词、代词、动词不定式或由that或疑问词引导的从句作宾语; 也可接双宾语; 还可接以动词不定式充当补足语的复合宾语。可用于被动结构。 guarantee后可接双宾语。
