You mentioned that you would be staying at home alone since your parents are away. I understand that it might be a bit scary for you but trust me, it is definitely fine!
Okay, a few tips from me regarding home alone.
Firstly, lock the door when you are at home. This is China, where burglaries are common. It would be folly to leave the door unlocked as common sense would tell you.
Secondly, turn off the lights when you sleep. In today's world energy is as scarce as gold. It is not about the money, it about the human race. Just remember to conserve energy.
Last but not least, call your parents when there is any anomalies. Just to be careful and inform them.
Enjoy your stay alone! You don't get this opportunity that often.
